Favorite: Hmm I'll go Venetian.

In my list, Venetian, without a doubt has my favorite ROOMS, there is no question there, but the Casino has terrible odds, the swimming pool (which is a big for me) is very nice, but not FANTASTIC, (you have to pay extra for TAO beach club) and there is so many people there I feel like just another sheep being processed.

again though, (out of my list) Venetian by far had the best rooms.

Favorite is TI but not for the reasons you would think. Here's why: In 2006 I got sick in Vegas, ended up in the hospital for 4 days beyond when we were going to check out. I was laid out in the hospital and my friend had to find a place to stay. There was a conference in town (just one of those brutally expensive weeks in Vegas) and rooms were really, really high. My friend explained the situation to TI and was only looking for help in finding another room (no internet). TI said, "Don't worry about it" and let us keep the room for $29/night for however long we wanted. I was able to stay another two days in the room (after my hospital stay) to recover. TI has absolutely SOLID service in my book.

Incidentally, good service is one of the main reasons I love HARD ROCK.

I left a 300$ voucher in one of the video poker machines, and discovered it an hour later when back at the Venetian.

I called the ROCKSTER PLAYERS CLUB, and they took care of it, found the ticket and held it for me.

Customer service is always important. And its value is continuously underestimated.

Favorite is also the Hard Rock, just love the music and atmosphere there.

Never know who you will bump into in the casino, i was walking down the hallway by the pink taco (great fajitas) and Matt Sorum (drummer for G N R/Velvet Revolver) was taking a picture with someone. Pretty cool.

I have stayed at

IP- used to be GREAT for a cheap stay, still not bad but not as good as it used to be.

Flamingo- decent pool and good history, I used to like it better when they had the penguins, why? I could keep my wife busy their for at least 1-2 hours of unbothered gambling

Thats all I've stayed, I think I have been at the IP 2x and the Flamingo 3x. I am staying at PH this year, excited to say the least

my favorite would be Ballys, highly underrated but now that it is part of the evil empire say goodbye to Ballys and all the special treatment that i was able to get.
I have stayed in almost all of them, except the really creepy ones like the casino royale, or the off strip ones like Sams town.
I would have to say the Nugget is at or near the bottom of the list. I here it has improved, i hope. Some of the old ones i liked, were the Dunes, Maxim, Hacienda.

Alot of you guys like Mandalay bay,

I had the worst experience ever on this recent trip there, there was a 45 minute line for check in, a 45 minute line for elevators, and the pool (the beach) was filled with screaming kids. Mothers changing diapers left and right. I mean it was like disneyland.

I'm pretty sure it was because of the July 4th holiday weekend and I just had bad luck, but I was so turned off I don't think I will ever go back.

I was also in a room with 2 double beds and there was a dirty Q tip under one of the beds and a dirty T-shirt (not mine) under one of the others.

Here was the dirty Q-Tip at Mandalay bay sticking out from under bed:

the above two shots were of a dirty knife given to us at house of blues for breakfast, a real turn off after a night of drinking and almost made me hurl.

Although the food was good (breakfast burrito), and I ate at the bar and the service was excellent.

I didnt take a shot of the dirty T-shirt that was also under the second bed at mandalay bay but I should have.

Favorite is also the Hard Rock, just love the music and atmosphere there.

I coudnt agree more brock, listening to great music instead of the ding ding ding of slot machines is so much better, the cozy atmosphere is awesome, one of the best pools in vegas also.

And the customer service was excellent, especially the ROCKSTAR CLUB that tracked down my lost 300$ ticket which I had drunkingly left in a Video poker machine.

The gaming odds were also excellent, see this thread here:
http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=597176&highlight=video+blackjack

And last but not least, the go go dancers dancing behind the blackjack tables which start at midnight every night were awesome.

most of them were in love with me also!!! :nohead:

Wow, kind of surprised, even though its a short list that nobody has bunked at Ceasar's Palace. Like staying there-but won't table game there-to high minimum limits. Many good restaurants, sports book, though not as good as back in the 90's. Location on strip is also fairly user-friendly to the balance of glitter gulch.
