i checked my old job from back in 92'...had i stayed would be getting 24 bucks and hour now

Companys can be shady once your hourly rate gets up too though.
They will find a reason to lay you off just to save money.

Hourly rate wage earning with a corperation can be tough over time no matter how much loyalty you show.
