I mean you blow a 4 run lead in the ninth then get a 1 run lead in the 10th and give a up a 2 run walk off homer?

When I saw the score tied in the 9th I said that is the kiss of death for cards backers.

Just as I am about to eat my words you give up a 2 run homer?

Larussa used Franklin,who is the closer in the 8th, and Izzy, set up guy in the 9th. It was like the pen started throwing bp to these batters.

Also, Jack Wilson was called safe on a ground out on a swinging bunt, but he was out..that would have made two outs in the 9th and one less runner on before the three run hr by Mclouth

foosh twice a year i relive this, i dont know why.....i had 5000 on this game a while back, somehting occurred that hadnt happened in over 200,000 games (mid 1960s).......it was a 10,000 dollar swing for me
