Yes I have been a big fan of Andruw Jones. If you look at his entire body of work, I still think he will get strong HOF consideration. He still has 10GGloves and 400 homers. There is not even a player with 10GGloves and 300 homers not in the HOF.
With that being said, something is very wrong. He was born in the Neitherlands. How is there cred when it comes to birth certificates?
There have been several foreign born players that we have come to find out being as many as 5 years older than we originally thought.
He is having what may be considered to be the worst season in baseball history.
He is playing like he is a lot older than 31 years old.
Its hard to believe that he was born 4/77.
This is why I said he was a lock for the HOF. 10 GGs and what I thought was a shoe in for 500 homers.
Now im not so sure he will get there even though is only a little bit more than 100 homers short of 500 at the so-called age of 31.
Do you guys think he is older than his birth certificate says?
