The umpires were really terrible when you think about it

Lots of missed tags that they usually are on top of.

Pujols was safe at 2nd, Kinsler was safe as second, Navvaro at home.

Those outs are called EVERY time. We replay that game the exact same way with new umpires and the exact same call is made. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do, but if the ball beats the runner to the bag he is out. That is always the case, unless it is very obvious that the tag was missed, which in these cases it wasn't.

No problems at all with the umpires in this game. I would have called those plays the exact same way.

I agree with OTK. The Kinsler steal was a case of the ball beating him there and Tejada doing a great job of selling the tag. The ump had no way of knowing, unless he was standing down on the first base side of the bag, to know that he missed the tag.

The play at home was another case of it happening so fast that the ump could NOT have seen that the tag didnt' happen until his knee. I'm ok with both calls.

It just seems they usually make the right calls, and dont just look at if the ball got there first. I realize how hard it is to make the calls i just think they usually get it right.

played ball my whole life still play today. the umps made the call thats gonna be mad 99% of the time. if the ball beats them to the bag and the tag is made as tought then its an out no matter what.

want a sick ballsy call, look at mclouths bunt. that was a good call and was ballsy.
