A lot of people have been looking forward to this series. Boston has not been playing well on the road and the Angels pitching has been phenomenal. Clay seems to get shelled on the road this year with an ERA of over 8. I haven't seen him to much though. Can anyone shed some light on him?

He missed most of May and all of June due to an injury and then the pitching depth of the Sox allowing him to work on some things down in triple-A at Pawtucket where he was phenomenal.

He's got all the talent in the world, but in his first start back he was doing the same things that cost him his job earlier in the year.

Too many walks, trying to look cute, trying to nitpick.

He just needs to go out and throw and sooner or later its going to happen. If you take the Sox tonight against Lackey, you're taking it simply on value because at this point in time, you just don't know what to expect out of Buccholz.

Will Lackey be the best pitcher in baseball like he was for most of the season, or the guy who got rocked his last 2 starts?
