If you're going to make the biggest wager of your life, shouldn't you at least be sure to get decent odds. Current market price on this at Intrade is around 31 (+220).

You;re throwing away a lot of money at +170.

Can and will get it at a better price than +170...This is simply the avg all over the web...ive seen as low as 140 and as high as 260...most in the high 100s

Average all over the web has no meaning. Intrade is the market here. It's all you really need to know. What some sportsbook that hardly books any of this moves it to from day to day means nothing. Watch the money flow at Intrade. McCain is 30/31 right now. It'll draft toward the mid 20's and then when it's obvious to anyone willing accept, will trade in the low 20's before election day. McCain has two chances: slim and none.

Sounds like you're betting with your heart and not your head. You're going to lose twice on election day November. You're better off betting Obama as a hedge to being saddened when he wins. Fishhead calls this a "heart hedge".
