Big-time fave, but will be on ESPN2 from Stateline/Primm, NV. Was going to drive out there, but will likely sit at home and have some refreshing adult beverages.

keep me informed Mr. Cleo. Wasn't going to unload on that big price and may pass altogether and just watch and enjoy Little Roy Jones Junior. But may bet him or under for shits and giggles.

Might be cheap price on under as last time out he should have had a knock out but faced a really good chin.

true...plus he was knocking people out at 130, and now the opponent is only getting smaller

Unbeaten Yuriorkis Gamboa (10-0, 8 KOs) was considered one of the big rising stars of the super featherweight division, however the 2004 Olympic gold medallist has now decided to go down in weight to campaign at 126 lbs. starting tonight in Primm, Nevada, against former 122 lbs. world title contender Al Seeger. "I think 126 is the most appropriate and most natural division for Gamboa at the moment", states promoter Ahmet Öner. "At 5'6 he is rather short. Fighting at 126 lbs. will help him be even more efficient and bring out his power and speed even more. If you keep in mind that he used to knock out tough guys at 130 you can imagine how he will clean up the featherweight division."

I deleted your second post with the odds, coz the display was messed up.

No problem with the delete. I tried to edit it, but didn't turn out ok.

So, is the play Gamboa and under here or a pass?

I put a little on the under. He should come out fast to build the hype on national tv.

im currently talking myself into a small play on the under for a few reasons

-- even tho it was a win, Gamboa's last performance was not impressive. i think he makes it a point to impress in his new division

-- anyone know how long Seeger even trained for this fight? because Jose Rojas was supposed to fight him tonight but he "suddenly pulled out"

-- Seegers been knocked down in his last 2 fights, both losses

Take a bit on the under myself. Seeger normally fights at 120 and Gamboa fights at 130. This fight is at Super featherweight (130). Wouldn't be surprised to see Seeger get overwhelmed and blasted in the first few rounds.

Took small percent on two separate bets. Gamboa to win and under 6.5 rounds. Let's make it a quick night.:toast:
