Have you looked at the lines for week one? About 20 of the games have a 3 touchdown favorite! Not a lot of competitive games, at least on paper. I agree it is a fun time of year but I think the anticipation is more intoxicating than the actual arrival of the season. Hell, I can't find a game to bet in that first week...
