It's a story about a guy who gets involved in one of the most competitive Rotisserie basball leagues around. This isnt your average everyday "fantasy" player, he goes to the extreme playing this game. He actually hires people to help him run his team. He is also a sportswriter and he feels he has an edge because he is in the locker room of all the teams and can talk to the players.

I dont play Roto anymore but thought this book was great. Not a how to book but just a very entertaining read on more or less how fanatical people can get about this game. If anyone plays loves to play this game, I think you will truly enjoy this book.

I was thinking about going to Barnes and Noble and finding a book tonight. Gonna pick it up. Thanks Iceman, you saved me from searching around for a while.

I read it last year and personally didn't like it very much. The author played the "I didn't know what I'm doing look at me I have no idea what I'm doing" card too much. Didn't get into details.

I thought not knowing what he is doing was kind of his point. It was his first league (he was 1 of only 3 new players that year) and he finished in 8th place. I thought that was the big thing, he first thinks he will dominate but comes to find out that isnt the case.

Let me state why I think I really liked this book was because of how well he presents all of the other league members and tells each of their stories.

Thought it was really interesting hearing how most of these guy were just normal everyday guys and they ended up quitting their jobs to start "fantasy" websites and write books, etc or whatever it is that made their heartbeat. Basically talks about how these guys whole lives revole around baseball and this game. I thought this is what made this book so enjoyable to me.
