Sad that HALAS and lombardi are long forgotten.

I love lomabardi Quotes.

I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious.

In 1961 the Packers captured their first NFL title under Lombardi, trouncing the Giants 37-0 in the championship game. Green Bay repeated as champions in 1962 and also won the title in 1965, 1966, and 1967. After leading the team to easy victories over the American Football League (AFL) champions in the first two Super Bowls (1967 and 1968), Lombardi retired from coaching.

Bill hasn't won shit since the 2004 season. <HR style="CLEAR: right; COLOR: #cccccc; HEIGHT: 2px">

I know. I would say Lombardi for greatest coach. Tom Landry and Shula are on the very short list of candidates.

Tom Landry was a great coach too.

Tom Landry had 20 straight winning seasons as an NFL head coach after starting the Cowboys expansion team in 1960.

And Shula also took a horrible 69 3-10-1 Dolphin team and turned them right around to go 10-4. Within 3 years that team went undefeated 17-0 and became the greatest team ever. Shula had 15 straight winning season in Miami after taking over a really bad team.

Both Shula and Landry were unmatched when it came to winning seasons.

I am misfiring on the George Allen achievements involved in this legacy outside of his Virginia right wing son stamping the word 'Macaca' into memory. Punch the Paul Brown button and wring a few more wins out of the NFL coaching scrapbook.
