This came to mind watching this thriller between the Nats and Giants. Giants are my team, but man is the broadcasting boring. It makes me appreciate how good the YES network with Michael Kay and crew really are. Hands down I feel they are the best in Baseball. I forget the name of the Arizona color commentator with Mark Grace, but they are my 2nd favorite. Very entertaining and enthusiastic. So I rank Yankess and Dbacks commentators 1 - 2. How does everyone else feel???

Matt Vasgershian and Mark Grant can make otherwise painfully boring Padres games quite entertaining

no love for vin yet?

I can't stand him because he's a monotone but he does absolutely drop knowledge...def knows more about the game (and the players dogs and daily routine) than any other commentator

i like the tv guys with the marlins, tommy hutton and can't think of the other fella's name. always seem to be enjoying themselves, wouldn't mind having them over to watch the game...

Lanny Frattarre (SP?) with the Pirates is good but generally unknown cuz the pirates have been so bad for so long.

Tom Hamilton on radio for Cleveland. Been there for close to 2 decades now, not afraid to make critical comment now and then, but never comes across as a know-it-all.
