San Diego Padres are arguably the worst team in baseball.
To emphasise the point, they play in the worst division and have scored the lowest amount of runs in the league. As of now, Padres are on a 11-game road trip and they have lost 7 of their last 8.

The pitching matchup between Maddux and Arroyo is a saw off...nothing really stands out. I like the Reds today not because they are good...it's because Padres are that bad. Padres are 7-24 in their last 31 overall.

I really like the UNDER/9 here as well because of the Padres inability to score as well Reds are third last in the league in hits at 8.4 per game. And if your into umpire trends, Under is 16-1-1 in Meriwethers last 18 games behind home plate vs. San Diego.

Maddux stock is dropping, while Arroyo is on the rise

Arroyo stock on the rise?
You only say that because Arroyo has the better record but look a little closer and you will notice Maddux has the better overall stats on a bad team.

Maddux has been fairly decent this season despite his bad record.

Arroyo has been inconsistent as shit and while he's pitched good of late, who knows if it will continue today?

I like the play though, bookie, good luck.

Dodgers are 11-4 in their last 15 road games seem the more stable team here. Hiroki Kuroda pitching a little better of late. Rockies are 27-45 vs. right hand starter. Small play on Dodgers.

Dodgers -113
