This is the official sign up thread for the Rx Bash 2008 Poker Tournament sponsored this year by BODOG. A total of $2500 in funded accounts will be split up by the top five finishers.
1st. Place $1500
2nd. Place $400
3rd. Place $300
4th. Place $200
5th. Place $100
In order to collect your prize you must have a BODOG account opened prior to Midnight PDT August 14th. 2008. Funding the account is optional, opening an account at BODOG is free. Anyone who wants to play and needs to open a BODOG account please click on this link below in red so that BODOG will know you are a Rxer..

This year the tournament will be limited to the first 66 posters to sign up. In order to qualify you must have at least 100 posts here at The Rx.com by August 1st. 2008.
VERY IMPORTANT: All entrants MUST email Rx Moderator Sportsavant their BODOG Account Number along with their Rx.com Poster Name at sportsavant@therx.com CC Sportsavant@gmail.com. No later than Midnight PDT August 14th. 2008.
Please title the email Rx Bash 2008 Poker Tournament.
You cannot play if you do not meet that deadline for emailing your BODOG Account Number..
Only posters will be allowed to play in the tournament. In the event that there are extra seats as of Noon PDT. on Saturday August 16th. I will allow guests to enter on a first come first seated basis. Guests can play on their hosts BODOG account number.
Note: I know Canadian residents cannot open BODOG accounts. However The Rx.com will no let that prohibit our Canadian posters from playing. Canadian residents simply email Sportsavant that they do not have a BODOG acount but would still like to play. In the event of a Canadian Rxer finishing in the money an alternate prize will be made available to him/her.
The Tournament seat assignments will be available beginning at 11:00AM on Saturday August 17th. The Tournament will be held in the main Golden Nugget Poker Room..
IMPORTANT NOTE: There will be a mandatory $20 donation from every player that will go to the dealers as a group tip from the players who enter the tournament. No moderators will participate in the tip, it is strictly for The Golden Nugget dealers and pit crew that run the tournament for us.
Anyone who has a problem paying the $20 please do not enter the tournament. This has been a yearly tradition for The Rx.Bash Poker Tournaments for as long as I can remember. The $20 will be collected when you are assigned your table and seat assignment.
Players please POST in this thread that your "IN" and email your BODOG account number to the email addresses listed above.
You can post questions and I will try to answer them ASAP.
