Myers and the PHills Get it Done Tonight

I really believe Myers has a good outing tonight. I know this team and I know how they tend to play. I believe Myers fixed his problems down in AAA Ball. His main problem was locating his fastball. The reason for the problems was because his head was flailing to the side which therefore made him lose control of his fastball and leaving it over the plate. He has worked on keeping his head straight to the plate and believe he fixed his problems. Phillies are also a type of team who ride the momentum wave. I believe they come out and put it on the mets tonight, especially coming off a night like they did lastnight. Maine has posted good numbers against the Phills but do not see him going late into the game. Seeing what we did to the mets bullpen makes me believe Phills win this game.

I like the Under.....Nationally televised games tend to be more defensive for some reason, I think the pitchers think they have something to prove

I hope so. As long as Myers can go 6 innings 2-3 runs they will have a shot.

Snake i think the under is a solid play. Like i said Maine has always pitched well against the Phills and think he will tonight also. I think Myers will have a good outting also and therefore it will come down to the bullpens. I will take the Phills bullpen over the Mets anyday of the week. Looking at a 5-2 win for the Phills. Could be wrong but we'll see.

Phillies are my team, but this is a no play for me. Maine usually dominates the Phillies and I have no clue what Myers will do tonight. He has been horrible on the road this year.

Lou I don't like it.

It's not like the guy tore it up in the minors going 1-3 with a 3.00 ERA. The funny thing is he's been gone for over 3 weeks and still leads MLB in HR's allowed with 24. It's hard to believe how far this guy has fallen since being the opening day starter.
