I have been reading some articles and ppl gave some tips that betting on totals generally has a better edge that moneyline teams. Is this true? A lot say when you have 2 teams that average say 5 runs and they are bringing in two starting pitchers who have a 5+ ERA i mean isn't that a huge edge for an Over even if its 11?

ONe guy says that he believes bettinig totals gives him the better chance at winning against the book as oppose to moneylines.

It depends at what your good at picking. A lot of people like totals for bases so you are not laying a lot of juice and you can go for like 55% winners like football or basketball.

Yes and no. I bet about 70% totals and 30% teams.

The biggest advantage with totals is that even the best teams in baseball only win 5 out of 8 games. So, regardless of what ace is pitching, after they leave the game it is up in the air.
