Angels' Biggest Road Trip of the Year...

Upcoming Road Series @ BOS and NYY

Yes, the Angels have a 10 game lead in the AL West. They have the best record in baseball, and they just swept the Boston Red Sox at home. ESPN was finally forced to give them so love, and they have. But this road trip is huge for the Halos in a number of ways.

East Coasters refuse to acknowledge the Halos because they haven't performed well in October (minus 2002), even though they just swept the Sox. And this is probably deserved. If the Halos can go in and take the series in NY and BOS, they will be the clear top dog in the majors, without question.

Their pitching this year has been phenomenal, and the bats are starting to come to life. I am especially excited for the Boston leg of the trip, Best Road Team vs. Best Home Team. Boston fans will have to take the Halos for real if they take the series from them in their own park. Not too mention, going into this game the Angels have won 5 out of 6 games against them this year.

As an Angel fan, I love it that they fly under the radar and get no love. But after this road trip, that may well change, and change bigtime. ope:

i do think angels are the best team...but doesnt matter in July.

Beckett and Dice K will outshine Lackey/Santana in the wintertime. id like to be wrong though

Angels are really good, but their offense is very ordinary.

The Yankees and Red Sox both have better lineups and match up well in the starting rotation. Yankees and Angels are 2 of the best bullpens as well.

With the addition of Tex, LAA surely just helped their offense!
