The local news is falling all over itself reporting on how the price of gas is only $3.99.
You know there is something wrong when we celebrate paying $4 a gallon.

for some weird reason, the price of gas isn't even news worthy anymore

I wonder why that might be

People like this guy and others in Washington don't have to worry about the price when they fill-up!

Their cost is....... Close your eyes what do you see!

Partisan

the term is widely understood to carry a negative connotation - referring to those who wholly support their party's policies and are perhaps even reluctant to acknowledge correctness on the part of their political opponents in almost any situation. Partisanship can be affected by many factors including current events, figureheads (presidents), decisions, and even location

Willie is a one-trick pony. Even that one trick is too much for him too handle as evidenced by the fact that fewer people on this forum are more consistently wrong than this clown.

There can be no doubt that BO wants to bring the USA into line with European countries. To move the country from capitalism to socialism.

Why else would he have David Chu as his Energy Secretary?

You remember Chu, don’t you? He’s the guy with the infamous quote:

“Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.”

And keep in mind, BO doesn’t pay for the gas he uses, we do.

Facts are inconvenient things to people who live in a Right Wing echo chamber.

America will bounce back, it always does. It’s just going to take one hell of a lot longer then it should have.

This is what the majority wanted and they are going to have to suck it up whether they like it or not.

They only have themselves to blame.

The wheels on the short bus go round and around.

Quote from your link:

When asked in 2008 about then-$4 per gallon gasoline prices, and whether that could be a good thing to encourage people toward alternative energy, Obama responded that he “would have preferred a gradual adjustment” because “the fact that this is such a shock to American pocketbooks is not a good thing.”

That tells me that he’s OK with higher gas prices as long as it takes awhile to get there.

Like maybe he would have preferred that gas prices got this high in January 2017, you know gradually.

PS. He's not the leasts bit concerned about Americas pocketbooks. Fact check that.
