betting big on the angels tom..they are so reliable..they might not win for me every single time i bet on them but it sure seems like it. they always seem to fins a way to win..plus olsen sucks

right there w/ you on the cold spell Fred!! 4-8 this week. My worst week of the year. not feeling too confident. Will have to regroup tommorrow to have a chance of getting close to even. twins and rox 2 roadies to take a look at for sure.

why do you like the yankees man? doesnt ponson have terrible numbers against boston? cant you see boston kicking him around on a sunday nighter trying to salvage a win in the series?

yeah i agree boston has some issues right now. if they arent careful they can wake up monday in 3rd place in the al east

I think alot of people will be on Boston thinking that they will win (everyone likes the favorites) especially at home. And since Boston has lost two in a row, the public will be all over them. New York is clicking and I think it will continue tomorrow. Make more money for less risk. I like betting a team that has good offense and defense. They will put up runs.

Before these last 2 rings the Sox got. They were nearly always in first place in May and wilted w/ the summer heat in August and double digits out of contention by Labor day. Just shows how our perception of the franchise has changed in the past 5 years.

the bosox are just getting a bit complacent. it is mid july. they know they are good, they know odds are they will get into the playoffs.

and it isnt like the yanks arent a good team still. christ they have abreu, jeter, damon, rodriguez, cano, giambi all guys that hit at or above .300 so eventually a team like this will roll. i dont think they have the pitching to maintain down the stretch but this is their surge.

Most interesting time of year to watch because as soon as NFL/College football start. Yanks/Sox take a back seat to the mainstream sports fan. Every move and trade is front page news this time of year.

Boston is set up to be a legit contender from the start to the end of the year for a few more years to come. If they let Manny walk this year, someone will high production will be coming in one way or another. Our salary cap is the lowest it's been in years, so they will be making the necessary trades to compete to win it all almost every year in the five in my opinion.
