Harrington's Top Sportsbooks for the 2008 Football Season

I have been betting offshore for many years and I have been very fortunate to never once have a problem with a slow or no pay. And there is a reason for that. Don't chase bonuses with shit books. Stick with my list of recommended shops and you will never have a problem. I still can't believe some of the sportsbooks that people are using and then they appear shocked when they don't get paid or get screwed out of their bonus money. Well here are the books I will once again be using this season and I will sleep well at night not having to worry about my money being safe or when or if I will get paid. Can't wait for football boys and I shall see you all real soon.

1. The Greek (Solid as ever and not afraid to take a large wager)
2. WSEX (My first book ever)
3. Bookmaker
4. Diamond
5. Pinnacle (Nice to have friends up North)
6. Legendz (More of a recreational shop but I use them from time to time)

I have not used them in some time but you are correct they are as solid as they come. I do remember their lines going up much later then I would like but still a very solid out.

Ive got an account there. I'd say its a decent out, but nothing great. The things I'm not crazy about are 1) Their software is old as dirt, lots of little hiccups with it.

2) When they leave for the day they just take down all the lines??? no overnights at all.

As far as payouts go they are only as good as ur agent so thats always a coin toss.

I'm sure you worked there and are biased so thats cool, but this is what I see.

1) Call in your wagers. They really aren't an internet shop. 2) They are old school(real bookmakers). With the kind of limits they have, I would take them down also. 3) Get a new agent. $tinky, just my point of view. Good luck this football season!

Haven't worked there since 2000, but I see your points...maybe you need to become a personnal instead of having a bum agent....just a thought, then maybe the coin toss wouldn't be an issue...

I just like to stir some shit up for fun once in awhile. Trust me I've been betting sports for 35 plus years and the only time I will stop is when they close the lid.

I believe an agent is the only way now but I might be mistaken.

Grande is a credit only shop(almost certain)

I've had nothing but good experiances with Heritage.(-107,earlylines)

The Best Books?

Hi, Harrington;

Thanks for your list of your favorite books.

Can you expand on why you prefer those books a little? Bookmaker and Diamond also. Are you focusing mainly on stability and timelyness of payouts? What others might you add?

I get asked this a lot and don't have the experience.:think2:

Thanks for the good words guys, actually means something coming from some old schoolers like u and b-putter.

I really did not mean anything negative about Grande or my agent for that matter.

As far as grande goes, I know they are old school and very well respected. Some of the oldest and most respected bm's I know got pretty bent out of shape when they left the dbs2k screen. I did as well, but really just because they did.

As far as my agent goes he's very trusted as far as I'm concerned, but I know him well and know he can only go "so far" ...... u know what I mean? I'm just saying if i happened to luck up and win 40k (not likely with me) I'd rather have Grande owe me than him. lol

Yeah I know, but they were gone for a breif period. I can't remember if it was all at the same time or not.

Everybody around here was going bonkers, subscribing to Line Tracker, GJ, and whatever else there was out there.

I know I got (and still have) line tracker when they all left.
