Colorado is killing the ball right now and gets to go against Snell who stinks, Hirsh is throwing for Colo, he was 5-7 last year with 4.81 ERA. Equal splits ERA wise on the road/away. Didn't get a lot of run support (2 runs or less in 10 of 19 starts). So far this year in AAA he's 2-3 with 5.24 ERA and a WHIP of 1.73. It stinks that Nady is gone for Pitt and Michaels will replace his bat. However, Marte is gone as well and that thins out the awful Pitt pen that much more. Think this one flies over the 9.5. GL everybody. Weather looks to be a non factor with the wind slightly blowing out (accrd. to weather.com)

Jumped on this one early, Xmas.

I see you are from Omaha. Do you ever go to Bluffs Run?

I make it down there about 3 or 4 times a year.

Good luck.

Yeah Oaks, swing down to Horseshoe/Bluffs Run every once in a while. Not as much as I used to.

I'm looking at the Rockies TT over 4.5. They have scored 5 runs or more their last 10 games.

around 65% of the public is on the over on wagerline.com, i know thats not everyone, but nationwide Im willing to bet its around the same, only a real gambler would take this under here....and thats me, im on the under simply cuz when an over like this looks to easy like it does, it usually goes under, gl tho guyz

Snell does not stink at all, he is a much better pitcher then his record indicates, and I think he will pitch well tonight...
He stinks.........You would know that if you watched him pitch this yr.
Also they have no closer right now and Matt Capps is on the DL. Their bullpen is very limited.

But can pitt score with that lineup?
The Rockies called up De Los Santos from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Monday for his first Major League action since 2005 and his first start in the Majors since 2000. De Los Santos, 35, was 3-5 with a 4.92 ERA in 17 appearances for Colorado Springs, including 0-4, 6.62 as a starter.

What do you think with those stats.:drink:

Yes he stinks this year, but the pitcher has talent, ive seen him pitch numerous times, and hes potentially a great pitcher....Snell at any given time could shut down a lineup, including colorado, and i think that happens tonight, besides this over looks way to easy to the naked eye, usually means it goes under, and I dont see pitt hitting the ball all that well today, de los santos will suprise people...I can see this game being like 5-3...

snell already has given up 2 - with no bullpen behind him he'll give up at least 8.

i would have agreed with this statement last yr. Snell was one of my favorite pitchers the past 3 seasons, but i think he was over used and this yr is showing the results of being used too much. He may also be injured. I just can't figure out what happened. His stuff is nowhere near as good as it was in the past. Hoepfully he can get some rest after the season and be back next yr pitching like he used to
