These guys careers have takena swan dive and can't seem to hit the ball off a tee. Is it wise for Ozzie to have them in the lineup everyday? they seem to come up and crucial spots and choke.

Lol I thought this thread was started today.. I was like.. Uhhhh.. Thome played AGAINST the Sox today, and he actually got a clutch hit in the 9th, but bad baserunning cost them. Obviously both these players are way past their prime, but not completely useless. In conclusion, fuck the White Sox.

Sometimes, the stupidity here never ceases to amaze me. Konerko is hitting .320, 17 jacks and 53 rbi's ... not much left in his tank and certainly what's dragging the pale hose down. Now Alex Rios - there's a guy worth every penny they are paying him.

You can make a pretty strong good case for Konerko as a HOFer.

7/30/2011:

Konerko’s homer was the 390th of his career. It ties him with Graig Nettles for 53rd place on the all-time list

5 years later Konerko still going:

2-0 Sox

- P. Konerko singled to shallow right, A. Rios scored
