You can win picking chalk as long as you pick you spots.....same can be said playing the doggies......there is no recipe for success.......if you are a casual player try training yourself to pick dogs because you dont even have to win half of your games to turn a profit.
Again chalk players and dog players can win as long as you know how to spot play....not as easy as it sounds....again casual players should consider playing more dogs but its much easier than it sounds.
Personally Ive been getting my teeth kicked in since a few days before the break playing dogs but I made a a huge chunk of that back on Monday.

Maybe I dont Have the right definition of what a unit is
For me a unit was the basic $ i bet normally on a game
and not the money i want to win-profit
I am not a expert who know all the technical term many people use here
And no i am not stupid to bet all my money only on moneyline that are -200 -150 or even -125
I usually bet between 60% and 85% on the moneyline
depending on the line
and 15%-40% on the Runline
This way if the favorite win by +2runs
i get about double my money
75% of games are decided by more than 2runs
if they win by only 1run i still make a small profit or break even
And dont worry for me i bet very small
1 unit for me is about 0.03% of my banroll
last night was not the end of the world
i was about 30-17 the last 7days
but still it sucks because all my profit of the last days are gone
The point of my post was not to argu about technical terms (maybe you can give me websites where i can learn more about all this)
but to share with people about this terrible night
90% of the favorites last night lost
How terrible is that!
i didnt bet on them but we can add to the list
Mets-Arizona-Milwaukee-Colorado also lost
only about 1 out of 10 favorite won

Big Favorite are suppose to win about 55-65% of the time
But last night only 10% won
