Is Direct TV f'n with me.......

Ok, ill give you the super short version. Get home from vacation and Sat doesn't work, test all the bs and decide it has to be the HDMI output. Call DTV and guy tells me their is a software issue with the hdmi ports and they are working on it and will let me know, in the meantime hook up a standard video cable.

Anyone else getting this BS, I hope to god they dont expect me to pay HD fee's when im not getting HD

Tell me more my good man, I have done this before and got the HD box for free. I think the NFL ticket would be the least of the things to compensate my eyes for not being able to watch HD

just call and ask for customer retention department and bitch and bitch and threaten to leave, they should start offering stuff. Ask about "being compensated" for the issues.

I am afraid to threaten to leave because they just might call my bluff. I need DirecTV for the NFL ticket. I wouldn't mind getting up graded to the directv on demand service and an HD DVR recorder.

I just got a free HD hook up today. The ass tech came and hooked it up; typical POS Tech, no surprise there. I called and told them I was "thinking of canceling", told them I was offered a better deal from Dish...Bingo, bango, free dish/HD, done. If your scurd, just say "thinking of canceling" and always be as nice as you can be.
