Can someone please explain to me how the Angels still continue to get these numbers? I'm not complaining, but I don't get it. It's not like they are flying under the radar anymore. Many people, including myself, cleaned up during the Boston sweep, looking to do the same here with these same numbers.

Garland gives up some runs, but with the Angels' offense lately, I believe they will give him sufficient run support. :pope:

If this is how you feel about the game you should put some on the over.

I really like the over. Neither team is putting a shutout pitcher out there. And if the yanks are going to get out of their funk it's going to have to be a slugfest.

I watch their games from beginning to end, every day. I know what I'm talking about. The Angels dominate the Yankees. The only team during the Joe Torre era with a winning record against them. Don't give me this BS about Yankees have a win streak going. They were almost just swept by Baltimore at home. The Angels have been playing consistent ball for quite some time. I'm not complaining here, because the value is great. Just having a hard time understanding it, that's all. And I feel bad for all those Boston backers... That was a lot of chalk that went for not.

I agree with that, my no play on this series would be this game with Garland on the mound. Questionable at best.... I'm gonna wait and see how high it goes.

Haha. yeah he can show up at times. You really have to throw out his 7ER outing @ Oakland. The team didn't get in til 4:30 in the morning. We'll see. I can't wait for this series.

realistically, win or lose the line is about right. the schedule maker really raped the angels pretty good. road trip to boston followed by a road trip to new york? this kind of setup is even tougher than the playoffs, where theyd at least have some off days to set their rotation and grab some rest.

Actually, it seems the schedule maker really screwed the Sox, if you ask me. Yanks are next.

Funk? They have won 9 of 12 since the break.

I don't see what the schedule maker did wrong, they cant account for how good team are. No different then the Yankees playing 3 in Seattle and then coming to LA.
