Funny they have been such big dogs, they are the best team in the MLB even without Tex in my opinion. I'll pull for the Angels, don't think my Sox have a legit shot of repeating this year and I've always enjoyed their team.

I'm with ya. I'm a mariners fan and with them being the worst team of all time this year, I'll root for another AL West team to win it. Plus I hate the Yanks/BoSox.

Listen up, I may be a homer, but to pass up value such as that on the best team in baseball is just plain idiotic. By the way, the Angels are 4-0 in those games if you were confused. :pope:

The value on the Angels is gone. They shouldn't be favs at NY IMO.

I have futures on both LA teams to make it to and win the World Series, but I am going to be selling the Angels bet back very soon for some very easy profit. Something tells me now this team isn't going to be there at the end and they aren't the best team in baseball IMO (although stats say otherwise). We'll see, but usually after a big trade like that you get everybody thinking they will win only to end up being overhyped. They still have major lineup holes IMO, and although they have one of the best overall rotations in the MLB, they don't have those dominant 1-2-3 pitchers like TB.

If you had a Matchbook account, you'd be up a lot more betting the same way.

Baloney. You can't take a team this hot and make them dogs to any team sending out Ponson.

I agree that the Angels are not as good as they are playing, but they are damn good and very well may be the team to beat.

Garza is dominating? A 6 road ERA is dominating. Shields road ERA is over 5. Get them away from their dump dome and they are anything but dominating.

I'll make this easy @ Home their highest era between the big 3 is 2.16.... Overall the highest ERA between the big 3 is 3.56?

Garland overall ERA 4.3 @ home its 4

Weaver Overall ERA 4.1 @ home 3.7

Lackey overall 2.93 and 3:56 at home

good day

Shields and Garza have been hammered on the road all year. I would trust Lackey, Saunders and Santana on the road long before them. Santana is the shakiest but Saunders road ERA is in the two's I believe and Lackey's road ERA under three. Unfortunately for Tampon Bay's pitchers, they cant pitch all their games in their dump.

I am still laughing at the Tampon Bay players talking about their "offensive outburst" in the last two games of their series against Toronto where they scored three games each. I guess when you've averaged 2.6 runs a game for a month three runs does sound like a lot. I would hate to see their reaction if they actualy scored 10 runs or beat a team with a pulse. I have never seen a first place team so excited about a 4-2 road trip over Kansas City and Toronto.
