Does anyone believe in loyalty ?

I am ranting here so if you don't wanna read someone bitching then move along. Short story is some of you might know I sell NFL/MLB jerseys to supplement my lacking income as a teacher. I have a guy that I have sold over 30 too and he puts in an order for 10 more yesterday. Well, I am also a football coach and 2 a days have begun. I get home from practice and he has sent me 3 emails saying he got another offer from someone else and could I match. Of course id match it too keep a good customer but he waits 2 hours and when I dont get right back to him he orders from the other guy. WTF, 2 hours?

2 hours is long enough...IMO

especially in retail since you can get almost anything on the web. You should have had your email forwarded to your cell phone...JMO

bummer, but timing is everything in sales, other guy likely gave him a short leash, stay with him and get the next order by calling and say how sorry you were to miss the call...

yea, I got him locked up for the next order, but 2 hours....I doubt I could just take a little break on the football field to do some business. Them's the breaks I guess, what I really need to find is some people to work with me and split the profits

no shit, I told him I would of cut him a better deal just to shut out captain duchebag customer stealer. If you need jerseys ever bb, I am your man

Last jersey I bought was a Earl Boykins for the wife, paid like a buck twenty maybe, can' remember.

Not into jerseys really, but i will keep it in mind.
