now that the cubs loss the day game brewers can move a game closer and start to make up for that sweep. im sure they were eager to get this road trip started so they can put this losing streak behind them but seeing the cubs lose probably has them even more motivated to get it done. its not like the braves have been playing any better. the big difference the brewers are in a race. they have a winning road record and they have won four of six games against Atlanta this season, including two of three at Turner Field from June 23-25.

also not that focused on the pitchers in the oak/boston game. both of them are good and can pitch a gem on any night. I just dont think a team that has loss 12 out of the last 14 can keep the redsox down for much longer. rsox recent home slump has been vs 2 strong al opponents which the a's are not. the trade and new month will turn it around for them along with a quality start from wakefield while rsox out hit a's.
