Yeah My Twinkies Are Doing Well, However

I'm VERY upset w/their lack of any movement @ trading time. Few teams in MLB needed a RH hitter as much as they do. They get by day to day w/a variety of journeyman guys. Buscher, Casilla, Span, Kubel, Punto, etc. And for the most part do OK. But they needed a dynamic presence in the LU to augment M&M who are truly great, Mauer one of the best LH avg. hitters in the AL, and Justin is an all around beast. I wanted them to get Nady, Beltre, or Bay. All available, 2 of them went fairly cheap. We have tons of prospects, as our minor league system is one of the best and just keeps churning out prospects. All the local geniuses think they can get by. But the way NYY & LAA improved themselves we nneded to do something. Enough ranting for the middle of the night, BOL

I think the Twins should win tomorrow, but I can't lay juice with them playing their first game on the West Coast road trip, even if it is @ Seattle.

this is a tough game to cap, mainly because on paper minnesota really isnt that much better than seattle. has seattle mailed in the season? we'll find out in these coming weeks. but the mariners have underachieved, the twins have overachieved, and that makes for some difficult capping down the stretch when it comes to seattle. they are not a pittburgh/washington type team though. theyre more than capable of taking 2/3 from contenders at safeco. personally im steering clear of most seattle games down the stretch. theyre better than their record. im just not sure if they have the heart to prove it.

minnesota on the road is a different team than minny in the comfort of their own ballpark. i cant see this twins staff keeping up the success they've been having for much long. even with liriano back and looking good, the rest of the rotation, blackburn, baker, perkins, and slowey, can't continue to fool the league. i see 2 if not 3 of them falling apart down the stretch mainly because of lack of experience not to mention tired arms (all young arms not used to throwing this much/this late in the season). but in the end, you also have to take the opponent into consideration and seattle SUCKS.

unbelievable DID YOU KNOW right here: the twins play 24 of 30 on the road before finishing at home for their last 6 games of the season. the white sox play 30 of their remaining 50 games at home including 13 of their last 23.

as a white sox fan, that's some good news and right about now we can use all the goods news we get.

Something is up with this game. Minny line is dropping. It opened at -125 on Pinny last night and it is down to -116 now.

I myself feel Brewers are a better bet for today.

Twins are a different team on the road and the Mariners hit lefties well. I'm staying away from this game.
