Does anyone else really, really like Texas with me. This game looks alot like the 1st game of the Cubs/Pitt series. Granted, Joba is a much better pitcher then Marquis, but Padilla is better then Karstens (maybe). As other posters have mentioned betting Texas is a crap shoot because of the park conditions plus their bullpen is suspect. But shoot, +150 is worth a shot, if NYY comes out flat, Texas could win this handily.

NY won't be flat today. Texas is one team they have always pounded over the years. 5-0 this year.

Getting Joba under -200 is a gift.

Yankees are hot coming off 2 wins and huge offensive outbursts.

10-3 Yankees.

At least try and attempt to be somewhat factual...

That is absolutely ridiculous. I'm on the Yanks RL today, but Joba is not a top tier pitcher, and I'm guessing you're a Yankees fan to say something stupid like that.

Joba should probably never be -200, so to say he should always be is idiotic. The Yanks win today with their bats IMO, not because of Joba.

He's a Yankees fan, but he's kind of right.

It seems like Joba is always over -200.

Not saying that Joba deserves it at this point in his career, but that seems to be the case.

Wish Texas had better bullpen, can't see them shutting down NYY right now. gl

The same New York Yankees who their own coach said had the most inconsistent offense he's ever seen.

The Yankees have looked foolish this year against far worse pitchers than Vincente Padilla.

Is Mo out tonight?

If so I can see Texas winning this in the later innings if they can get Joba's pitch count up.

The only reason the Yanks won yesterday was because of their bats(and the Angels pen). Their pen did blow a 3 run lead in the top of the 8th.

I'll take the Rangers as an underdog tonight.

Rangers are 16-5 when Padilla starts.

i like the yanks here...only because they come in fresh from decent weather...it's been over 100 the past week and the rangers have played daily in it. pitchers wear out in this heat rather quickly...if padilla or joba is forced to endure long at bats, it could get ugly for either one of them. kinsler, young and hamilton all had quiet bats last night. Laird has 2, 2-run shots...without him, texas loses that game last night. Yanks will be fresh, have poppin bats...it's gonna be brutally hot again tonight.

Getting the Yankees at even money -1.5 is a gift.
This game has blowout city written all over it.
