The coverage of this is getting out of hand.

Sunday morning I get up and turn on Sportscenter.
As soon as I sit down, they interupt the regular show with BREAKING NEWS.

I am thinking someone died or something serious has happened.

The BREAKING NEWS was that Brett Favre was going to report to Green Bay and his plane was going to land at 5:30.

Packers really hired former US Press Secretary Ari Fleischer???????????????????????????????????????? I heard a TV station mention it y-day and I thought that it was a joke. OMFG does GB management looks like total tards. Good lord you guys are management, make a decision and stand behind it.

Dufus comment..As fish said they have tons of talent! I am in Tampa today and tuned into the Animal..As a Cheesehead I would like to see a trade to Tampa for Garcia and a draft pick (if we could get that)..There is no way they release him outright. The mngmt has caused to much damage too just let that happen.

There is still an outside chance they say:

"Brett,we are trading you to Tampa"
Brett- "I don't want to go to Tampa"
Ted- "you waived your no trade clause and we own your rights. To Tampa you go"
Brett- "I will stay retired"

When I first heard Favre wanted to come back I laughed. Shocked a little too. I felt horrible for the GB management and coaches. They moved on without him. THe y had Rogers and spent 2 more draft picks this year on QB's. I figured they would just release Favre and move on as theyve grown tired of this retirement talk back an forth for 3 years Favre looked like a fool. ..........the GB Brass had all the chips!

Now...... what a bunch of total dumbshits. Unreal on how they mishandled this entire situation. Things theyve done and said. That whole managemnt crew should be shit canned.
The whole time there were two choices here......Favre gives you the best chance to win so bring him back and he is still your starter if healthy or #2 Release him (obviosuly if you cant trade him) and allow him to go elsehwere if you no longer want him. The guy has been your team for the last 18 years. He is Green Bay. Show him some respect and let the man come back to play football if he wants. Just cut ties with him and release him if you dont want him. Deal with the repercussions from that later. Have some balls and make a decision.
