Milwaukee/Cin over 9 -110 *2 units
Bush has been terrible on the road this season and has been hit very hard by the Reds throughout his career. Volquez has shown he's human over the past month, two teams that can put up some runs, I'll side with the over in this one.

LA Dodgers -114 *2 units
Billingsley has been an absolute stud this season on the mound and I don't see any reason in getting off the train here. Carpenter is a very good pitcher, but only his second start back after Tommy John Surgery so I expect him to be on a pitch count here, he pitched 4 innings his first start and probably 1 or 2 more in this one. LA seems to have some momentum with Manny in their lineup and just took their last 2 from Zona.

Washington +148 *1.5 units
Playing some value here with a young Nats squad that has won 4 straight and have the better pitcher on the mound. De La Rosa is a very inconsistent pitcher for the Rockies, and judging by his 6.94 ERA and 1.65 WHIP, more cold then hot, he is certainly hittable.

Arizona -1.5 -118 *2 units
I faded Pit yesterday , and will do it again today with another big pitching mismatch. Duke has just been horrible this season and especially over his past 5 starts. And as far as his opponent Brandon Webb, well enough said there.

San Fran -1 +110 and over 8 -103 both 2 units - Hampton's been getting hit real hard in his return with an ERA of 10.00 and WHIP of 2.33 in his 2 starts. Opponents also hitting .405 against him in those 2 games. Sanchez has struggled his past couple starts but overall he's having a pretty good season, and going up against this Braves team missing some of its key weapons may be exactly what he needs. Either way , I also see this game going over 8 runs.

back with American league in a bit

NY Yanks -1 -135 *2 units - I was on the Rangers yesterday with a much more solid pitcher in Padilla on the mound, but coming back against them today with the Yanks. Pettite got roughed up his last start, but has had a very good season otherwise. Harrison for Texas has been getting hit hard and has a very high 1.85 WHIP , also only has 4 K's vs 14 BB's, so obviously has some control issues as well. If the Yanks are gonna win a game in this series, this should be the one.

Boston -1 -135 * 2 units - With a combination of the Sox losing yesterday, and Beckett vs Bannister on the mound, this one is a no brainer to me taking the Red Sox to get back to their winning ways. Bannister struggles against the Sox and has been getting hit pretty hard since late June.

Minnesota -136 *2 units - Tough loss with them last night but I'm coming right back on them here. Baker's been very consistent and good all season for this Twins team, while Dickey has been hot and cold for the M's and got hit hard in 2 of his last 3 starts.

LA Angels -1.5 -103 and over 10 -109 for 2 units
Both these teams can hit and put up the runs, and with a rookie pitcher going for the O's who has somewhat struggled in AAA , I expect the Angels to get a bunch today. In 18 games, Waters has a 5.7 ERA and a 1.56 WHIP in AAA ball. Garland is steady and reliable, but at the same time is known to give up some runs.
