If you win on a regular basis you can do it by just betting more per game. It's not like there aren't people here that win at a rate high enough to do it.

I would estimate .0001% of gamblers make a living at it.

There are two kinds of people in this world.

There are those who masterbate and there are those who lie about it.

It isn't as hard as people think. I don't and don't ever plan on doing so. Even if I were to make $100,000 a year gambling I wouldn't want the stress of depending on that money every year. I prefer having a job for stable income every year and just having my gambling winnings as a bonus for luxury.

I don't know about making a living out of it, but I know a few posters here and a couple other places who have enough money in their overseas accounts to have a go at it if they really wanted to...But the ones I know just make it a serious hobby rather than risking their entire bankroll. The smart thing to do imo...
Having said that, I would bet a big bankroll that there are more than a handfull of professional sports gamblers who use this site on a regular basis for their source of information.

Reminds me of the joke "they took a survey on masturbation and 90% of the people said they did, the other 10% were busy masturbating"

Agreed. I did it for 3 years with varying success but your right about the stress. You must produce month after month. Is your bankroll big enough to withstand a bad run for 6 months? I know mine isn't.

Looking back, I didn't have the discipline required to take this on. And I still don't.

Back in the day I would say there were quite a few pros posting here.

The Neteller pinbet outcome just ripped everything to shreds.

There are still pros though, believe that. If you know what to play and what to do you are going to win. It's that simple. Maybe not as easy as before, but it's still possible to be a full time pro.

The problem with this question is that anyone who says they are making a living at it will automatically be called a liar, as seen in other posts when a similiar question has been raised.

It is a huge risk and you have to know what you are doing. Most bettors are casual, and don't have the six-figure bankroll and money management skills that you would need to sustain success over an entire year.

With money transfer being such a bitch, being funded at multiple outs is more important than ever.

And you need a good line service.
