I wonder if Yankee fans still think they stole Nady and Marte? Ohlendorf is killing in the minors for Pittsburgh and Karstens is about to go 2-0 in his first two starts without giving up an ER with both starts coming on the road.

I'm watching the box score, i've seen at least 5 or 6 DEEP fly outs, seems arizona is concerned with swinging for the fences

He isn't overpowering but his offspeed stuff really moves, and he locates his pitches well

Pirates 3B Gomez nervously bobbles a grounder but recovers just in time to get the out. Then Chris Young rips a double down the line to break it up with 2 outs in the 8th. Boooooo!!!!!!

He looked great, but he is not a kid anymore and his bad K/9 through the minors suggests he will really have to be flawless in location from start to start and that takes someone truly special

karstens is doing well this year...actually our staff in general is. very, very surprising. love the correia pickup, and for whatever reason morton seems like he learned how to use his stuff this year. aside from last night, though, we have trouble providing run support.
