No score in first inning -150 (Tor-Oak)
Justin Duchschere vs A.J. Burnett

Duchscherer has continued to be outstanding, even though his recent record -- 0-2 in his past four starts -- doesn't reflect it. He allowed one run on five hits in six innings against the Red Sox at Fenway Park last time out, but did not receive a decision. Justin Duchscherer got an extra day of rest which should make him stronger in the early innings.

Burnett won his 13th game of the season -- his most in a single season -- and the victory gave him one against every Major League team, but it came at a cost. He allowed four earned runs in 5 2/3 innings.
Previusly Burnett allowed just four earned runs total in his previous four starts and hadn't allowed that many runs in a game since July 9 against Baltimore. A.J. Burnett has been challenging Roy Halladay atop the Jays rotation. With a win against the A's, Burnett -- who leads the AL in strikeouts -will have 14 wins. Burnett has been a solid pitcher all year in the early innings.

No because Adrian Beltre lit Sonnanstine up for a hr this year and has 2 against him in his career.

Seattle's bats were hot against the Twins also. No exact way to look at No Scores just have to trust Starting pitches and 1rst 4 batters in the lineup.

I was thinking about this earlier in the week, and maybe this is a good place to ask the question: Has anybody crunched the numbers on betting the 1st inning score (Y/N) of every game? I haven't looked into it very much at all, but it seems more often than not, if you bet for no score first inning you would come out ahead. Any thoughts?

Added: Nevermind, perhaps it is a dumb idea. I just looked over yesterday's box scores and it was 9-5 those that scored vs. did not score in the 1st. Like I said, not much research, but the initial didn't impress me much!
