This year Bergman has been allowing leftys to hit him 80 points higher then righthanders (.308 - .227) but fortunately there is only two lefthanders to worry about with the Rockies and that is uber prospect- Ian Stewart and the ever improving, Brad Hawpe.

The recently madeover Nationals lineup has given Manny Acta something to work with of late as the Nat have scored 7 runs per game in August before losing the opening game in this series 8-2 just two nights ago. I look for them to bounce back tonight and get some cuts in against Francis whom i think will struggle somewhat this afternoon. I like Francis alot but he has been plagued by arm issues all season. Lets go with Bergman to finally get that elusive second win, because May 15 to August 7 is long enough between starts.

Bergman was dominant, nice winner for the both of us. I did read your write that you put out last night, we surly had the same thought process there.
