Theres a line between being humble and sounding like an ass

If Favre was in Minny right now, he would be saying completely different stuff

what would he be saying?

he was honest. he said he wanted to stay in the division because he wanted to get revenge. he said it was probably stupid of him. once he realized that it wasn't possible he was open to coming to the jets.

he said the situation was the fault of both sides.

People just love to read into everything.

I am not a hater but he really sounds like he would rather be in Vietnam than at a Jets press conference

Favre looked pissed off.

One of the reporters told him over 3,000 Favre jets jerseys have been sold and Favre replied "Is that all."

favre looks like a man with something to prove. As a jets fan, that can't be a bad thing.

It will take some time but he was depressed in that interview. No matter what goes down he still wished he was a Packer.
This will be interesting.

Its like a marriage and you are walking down the aisle and see your old girlfriend, the one you should have married.

No...this is just like a divorce.

Brett and the Pack ...things were done...things were said. They couldn't go back. Irreconcilable differences

The Jets are just Bretts bimbo...he's having revenge sex.

Good luck Jets fans. :drink:

I've honestly been the first to say Favre is overrated as a QB and really isn't a big impact player at all, and that Rodgers should be starting and can do just as well if not better than him, BUT I saw nothing wrong with his interview. I still think of Brett as a good guy. He handled this situation terribly, but he's pretty much just someone that is having a hard time letting go of the game he's spent his whole like playing, and I have no problems with that. He's a good guy to talk to and a great role model. I think he's massively overrated as a player right now, but had no problems with that interview.

And as for that jersey comment, it was a joke by Brett. It's just like when he was at the ESPY's and said "seeing that clip makes me want to play again", making a joke of himself coming back. He's actually a pretty funny guy.
