OK, I know there are some experts out there. This is not a question about video poker strategy, it is question about the order of the cards that come out after you hold the cards you want and dump the ones you don't want.
Was playing video poker today at Gulfstream and was talking with some of "the regulars" there. Basically here is the question, I was playing a bonus version of video poker. I decided to hold a low pair instead of a holding 4 cards and going for an outside straight. The hand was a loser but the first card dealt from the left side of the screen would not have given me a straight.
I was always of the opinion that on the draw after you hold your cards, that the next card in the deck is dealt from the left side. The guys next to me said something to the effect that you get the next card behind that card, whatever that means.
