Your beginning basis must be to know the percentage of times a -3 favorite wins the game by precisely 3 points.

Surprising that so many bettors do not know the answer to this, or think they do and are off by as much as 5% or more.

CORRECT

20 cents is the max one should be willing to risk on a wager such as this...............

An NFL game with a line of 3 has anywhere from a 9.1-11.0% chance of falling on the number.......depending on whose wiseguy numbers you respect the most.
