Thoughts On SF/Dodgers game

lots of u seem to be against dodgers or atleast leaning towards Sf

might i ask y?

i could be wrong but i would assume this is general opinion--
- Line up- Adv. Dodgers
-Bullpen- Slight Adv. Dodgers
-Starting Pitching (Record Against other team/year)- Adv. Dodgers
-Manager- Adv. Dodgers
-Play as Of late- Adv. Dodgers
-Play off implications- Adv. Dodgers

can i ask what other than the HOPE that Zito MIGHT return to previous form is making people lean towards betting them... If you are going off how he looked in his last start i dont understand when it was against the PADRES..

not ragging on anyone but I've seen in on 4 or 5 forums... it seems the general forum consensus has been just fucked with their pics.. I can't see why ANYONE would be on the Giants today other than the line looks very odd... like to hear some input from people on why the G men are a good play...

I kinda like the Over a bit. SF has been swingin it better lately and they do better at home.

I don't trust either pitcher, so that helps. As far as betting on a side, just can't do it on Penny's first start back.

imo the only reason other than HOPEING Zito will pitch good which is waht people have been doing for the past 2 years, is that penny Might not be up to his level since he is coming off the dl..

If i was coming off the Dl there is NO lineup i would rather see than the Giants

for me its more of a play against Penny. I like to fade starters after a lengthy stay on the DL. aS FOR Zito he is no where near where was was years ago, but he is much improved from earlier this season. the giants are scrappy and feel they will be able to score enough for the win. LA isnt exactly a offensive power either

Just remember ppl, Manny pounds the fuck outta Zito even when he was in his prime... Pure hitters like him usually keep the trends going...

i would agree dodgers are very inconsistent line up but since they got manny u have to agree they have been playing at another level..

and i agree it is not the smartest thing to take pitchers when they are new off the dl but is there any other line up you think he would rather face. he shut them out earlier this year..

And i realize zito did good against the pad's but the game before look at what a reeling Dbacks team did to him...

Zito had 10 K his last start vs. the Dodgers and Penny has struggled this year. Line is begging for the Dodgers so I didn't take anybody.

Also fade Lang has the Dodgers.

yes and i agree that poses a risk but is it really that big of a risk when he hands the ball off to that bullpen?

I just don't think the dodgers were that good before the Manny deal. As a result, everyone is jumping on the dodgers. And the truth is, one guy can only do so much. But even more so than Manny inflating the line, I think Brad Penny is awful. That can't be underestimated

i actually think the over is the best play here. i will be on both the over and giants relatively small.
