Glendale Heights man faces bookie rap

A Glendale Heights man is expected to be arraigned next week on charges of illegal bookmaking in Carol Stream.
Denny Vo, 44, 409 Greenbriar Drive, is accused of collecting up to $100,000 in illegal bets on international soccer games from December until March.
He is charged with syndicated gambling and money laundering, the latter count stemming from depositing the money in a bank.
Vo was arrested July 3. He is free on a $5,000 bond. A DuPage County grand jury indicted him this week, according to court records released Friday.
