George I just spoke with my cousin who lives in Vegas. He's unemployed and thus would be free to pick you up at the airport. He sleeps kinda late and said he would be there by 2:00pm. Look for the bald fella with the wooden leg.

Yes. Going to downtown is sort of a haul compared to going to the strip.

As soon as you come out of baggage there are several booths set up for shuttles, can't miss them. Piece of cake.

Then to get back, you just call one in advance and set up a time you would like to be picked up. Simple.

Hire a Mexican like everybody else.

45 to downtown?? by cab. Wow, things have changed. When I drove it was 20-25. My last ride was 91 though. I made the trip a zillion times. Piss off the driver and tell him to go right down Paradise. It is the straightest line. Trick is to tell him you want to go to the Hilton. Then change your mind and say just go downtown to Nugget.
The interstate is the long way around, no matter what they say. I drove cab for about 6 years. You have to trick Mapquest and put in two searches as below.. Total drive time by Mapquest 17 minutes my tricky way
