I will go against the Under trend here with a reason........stats.

Carpenter has pitched 15 innings in the last 2 years.
He is a good pitcher but shouldn't go too far(I hope)
Not sold on StLou's bull pen.

Cards face the #1 BA team in the majors and #2 in runs scored.
The Cubs TT in only 3.5????
If these stats lose for me I'll say "Good pick wrong result"
EVERYBODY loves that one.

Naw, if you lose it was simply a bad pick.
If the cubbies are that proficient at scoring runs, particularly at home where they're playing tonight, why is their tt only 3.5?

This sounds like a sucker bet imo and if the books thought the Cubs were going to top the 4-run total mark tonight, I think they would have set the tt at 4, thereby at least covering the push.
Bol in any case and I hope you win of course.
