Anyone know if the mercy rule in softball will screw a bet?

Got USA-8.5...If they lead by 7 (yeah I thought it was 10 too) after 5 innings game is called..Wonder if they will honor the softball bets..I think they should but see nothing in the rules..Boy, just when I thought I had seen everything in the book...If they do not pay out it is BS..now its 11-0..

This rule will be important in softball bets..I will keep you all posted

Actually..If they do not grade it as a win..then there is no physical way you can ever win laying more than 7 runs:think2:

From 5dimes rules:

Any baseball, softball, or little league game ending early as a result of a mercy rule will have action on all wagers (unless otherwise noted).

This rule is tricky..What if you lead 7-0 after 5..game is called but you gave 8.5 like tonight you would lose..

Thats a good one..your team kicked their ass..so you lose

It paid..but watch this rule..it could bite you in the ass

You may give away 7.5 or more runs..if you are winning by 7 runs after 5 innings the game is called..bottom line watch out giving away a lot of runs in softball..double edged sword here
