i never ever play on the notion that someone is "due". Esp in baseball. it is a game of numbers and streaks. if you play on someone is due for a win, or due to pitch a good game your going to end up on the short end of the stick more times than not. Just my opinion tho, but it's something I learned long ago. GL
i'm from NY so pretty much watch all or part of every yankee game and its obvious this year that this team just doesn't have "it". i just don;t think their that good of a team, and almost certainly will be sitting home when the playoffs role around. just too many holes in this yrs squad.:toast:
i like Madden. he brings a uniqueness and toughness to the team. i also like Girardi. I'm a Yankee fan and was pulling for him to get hired, 3 years ago. The players respect him, and he also brings toughness to the team. Like I said tho i just don't think this Yankee team is that good. Even before the year started they weren't picked to win the division, but rather rebuild while contending. once the Yanks develop these young pitchers, and cut ties with some dead weight they will be fine and Girardi will win a couple titles before its all said and done.
