Your thoughts? Sure, the juice is ridiculously high at -260, but Tommy Hunter has been beyond bad in his only 2 starts, and Matsuzaka is, well, Matsuzaka.

I don't want to hear "Never lay that much juice" - because those opinions don't matter to me. I laid -197 yesterday on Milwaukee, because it was a solid play.

Give me some decent scenarios, if any, that Boston does not win this game. Boston is 6-0 at home and has a MUCH better to reason to kick ass, trying to catch Tampa Bay, rather than the cannon fodder that the Rangers have become.

also the best teams in baseball lose 70 games a year sooooo with that said they can lose...chances are slim but there is def a chance they lose...260 is a bit high IMO...seems more like a 190ish type of game

Hate to lay that much juice against one of the top run producing teams in the league. Pass.

so basically, the only opinions that matter are from those who agree with you?

if you are truly looking for a devils advocate
.... despite a small sample, matsuzaka has an era near 7 in his career vs texas
.... he has a very mediocre K/BB ratio, which is very relevant here because putting unnecessary guys on base against a good hitting team is a recipe for trouble

btw - nothing wrong with favorites if they truly outclass the opponent. dont see that as the case here. will boston win tonight? probably. but is this worth the stress? probably not.

Like the over. Matsuzaka will walk the ballpark in 5 innings and the sox will score a bunch again.

BTW. Tommy Hunter has some pretty nasty stuff. His only problem in his first two starts (and the reason for the high ERA) is because he fell behind a few hitters and had to groove a fastball that was hit out of the park. I am probably going to put a little on the Texas moneyline. Been a while since the Rangers were swept.
