Can flat out announce swimming. Well prepared and really adds to the coverage big time. Very good at golf also. Just very underrated in general. That's all.

Big time underrated and I'm not sure why.
Do you have to do football as well to get recognized as a good announcer?

Damn, when I first saw this thread I thought it was about the musical group Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks.

Does anybody remember this 70's band?

His call of the 4X100m freestyle relay should go down as one of the greatest calls of all time IMO. I still get goosebumps when I hear it. It was pure, unedited emotion that really captured the feeling of every American that was watching.

I didn't realize that he was married to Hannah Storm.

i'm surprised the guy can speak as clearly as he does . given the fact he has a rubber mold of tiger woods dick in his mouth 24 hours a day..

never heard an announcer gush over an athlete like he does woods..
