i said it plenty of times baseball is a game of streaks and i love playing on streaks. tonight we get a team who has won 8 straight at home with almost a 40 cent return. not to mention we have a pitcher who is historically dominant at home facing a team with several offensive inefficiencies. i will take this game all day everyday win or lose. here's to getting a few off of Webb:toast:
I like all of those except the Mets. While they *should* beat Pitt, as has been said before they are a team that does the opposite of what they *should* do.
And I could see the Yanks winning, but at that price it's ridiculous. Can't NOT take the Royals to beat the NY pen. I'm actually like the over more than anything.

i'm not big on "should" and "should not" wins. play more on numbers and situations. it was good to see that the Mets bullpen rebounded to shut out the nats that past series. i believe they pitched 8+ innings of shut out ball. that really was their main deficiency. they held a bullpen only meeting before that series and looked like they took a step in the right direction. confidence is a huge facotr in baseball and shutting out the nats in the series i believe was a huge step for them.
as for KC they actually have a winning record against lefties. and for some reason the Yankess continue to be given huge respect by the books. i just don't see the Yankess as that big of a favorite against a pitcher who has been throwing well and a team that hits lefties well.
if there ever was a lock i think the minnesota twins and fransico liriano would a lock today. i could never get myself to lay that type of juice, but i think if they play 10 times minnesota is winning of them. with my luck tonight would be that 1 where the twins bats go dormant and and they lose 1-0
