I have watched track and field for a long-time and don't ever recall someone running as if he had 9 or 10 M head start. That was a joke. If he kept going it would have even been worse.

This is unreal.

My favorite part was the 2 chinese guys hugging him like they were his best friends (they may have been I don't know, but I didn't they were with him)

He should just keep breaking his own record as many times as he can. Winning the race just isn't as issue.

I wish he wouldn't have slowed up to know what his time could have been. Might as well make the WR an unattainable goal for anyone but himself.

Guy is highly entertaining though. Impossible speed.

I hugged Sean Taylor`s mom hours after his death...We were total strangers and she nearly squeezed the life out of me...in the end, we are all human!

I remember the best 100M run I had ever seen was Carl Lewis in the 4x100 in Barcelona, but there is big difference in a relay and starting from the blocks.

PS...Case some of you younger rascals dont know..Bob Hayes was a great wide receiver during a time the Cowboys were one of the best teams in the NFL..He was also the fastest man on earth at one time during the 70`s-The Menace

It was unreal. I've never seen anything like it. He literally coasted 20 meters of a 100 meter sprint.

He also just started running the 100, the 200 is his best event. He will go under 9.5 at some point.

Can't wait for the 4x100, USA vs Jamacia should be good.

sick indeed, may just be one of the best individual performance's i've ever witnessed. he still doesn't look as if he's been pushed and it's hard to imagine what he is capable of.

what number could he post if someone "pushed" him into running at his best? i'm thinking mid 9.5-9.7???? he looked like he was coasting the last 15-20 meters.

One of the most incredible athletes I've ever seen. It sucks for Michael Phelps that he had to get the 8 gold medals the year Bolt decides to steal the show because when people think back to the Beijing Olympics years from now they will remember Bolt as the headline, and deservingly so.
