Jon Lester has developed into a dominant left-handed pitcher. Jeremy Guthrie's last time out against Boston he went: 4 2/3, gave up 7 hits, 5 ER, 5 BB and just 1 strikeout. Jon Lester at -130 is a bargain especially with the situation and history. 15 runs and 22 hits against one of the best teams in baseball at their house, I believe a fire is lit under there ass after today or should be. No Adam Jones, Markakis and Huff both left-handed bats against Lester. Expecting Boston to post at least 5-6 runs, that should be enough for Lester. Baltimore scored 16 runs yesterday and had 22 hits, expect a let-down in runs.

Take into account that the last time Lester pitched, he faced a much tougher hitting lineup and he completely shut them down.
Lester is coming into his own, and has came up with huge games when Boston has needed him.

LOL I understand that he has performed well recently but the fact of the matter is he has never been successful against Boston. People tend to forget even without Manny and Lowell, this lineup is no joke. Guthrie has won his last three outings, two of those against shitty lineups in Cleveland and Seattle, we'll see what he can do against some real lumber tonight. I am EXPECTING to go 7-0.
